Ferrari 512S spyder

s/n: 1006 - This 512 S Spyder was delivered and raced by N.A.R.T. and was never converted to "M" specs but later became a Berlinetta.
1970 CanAm Mid Ohio #20 Team NART with Pedro Rodriguez dnf (engine) 70/80 laps 11th OA, Grid: 5th (1:30.400)
Engine: V12cyl dohc 4994cc 4vpc 550hp at 8500rpm 371ft.lb at 5500rpm 340km/h 5 speed gearbox, 880kg 25 built (total of 512’s).
In 1970 this car raced at Sebring 12hrs, Donnybrooke (9th OA), Mid-Ohio (11th OA), Road America (7th OA), 1000km Buenos Aires (7th OA), 24h Daytona (2nd), 1971 12h Sebring, 24h Le Mans, it was displayed for 10 years in the Rosso Bianco Collection, but in need of a complete restoration. It was then auctioned May 20th 2007 in Maranello in RM's Leggenda e Passione Auction for €2.6 million.

Nissan R382

Nissan R382 made by Ebbro with Ref.: 43533 and it is 1 of 2400 models made.
Active year: 1969
1969 Japan Gran Prix at Fuji #20 driven by Yoshikazu Sunaku 2nd OA. This was the only CanAm race that was done outside of North America. Motoharu Kurosawa won the Japanese Grand Prix of 1969 with the other Nissan R382 with No. 21 and it marked Kurosawa's final breakthrough and Kurosawa became one of Nissan's primary drivers.

Toyota 7 represented a significant jump in Japanese motorsport history and proved that Toyota had the ability to successfully race any manufacturer in this highly competitive sport. It also interesting to note the similarities in the shape of the Toyota-7 when compared against the Porsche 908/3

Chaparral McLaren M-12

Chaparral McLaren M-12 made by Solido with P/N: 176 and modified by me (see "1/43 collection of transformed and restaured models for more details). Changes included a different rear back facia and air deflector, a different layout of the top of the rear cowling that included 2 openings facing rearward, and a different windshield and cockpit layout.
Although this is not a Chaparral it was raced by Jim Hall's drivers until the Chaparral 2H was available.

Toyota 7

Toyota 7 made by Ebbro with P/N: 43850. This Toyota 7 (415S / 3000cc) had its debut race at the 1968 Japan Grand Prix with #1, but it is similar to the ones that raced at the Fuji Can-Am 200 Miles (Track: Fuji International Speedway - 4.281 km) in November 1968, a total of 5 cars entered in the CanAm race with the exhausts inside the body instead of being on top.

1968 Japan GP #1 out of the 4 that entered 2 reached the 8th and 9th places, Nissan R381 won the race.

McLaren M6B

McLaren M6B model kit made by Marsh swith Ref.: MM7 and built by me.
Active year: 1968
s/n: M6A/3 - Sunoco Special is a McLaren M6A modified according to the “B” specification and entered by Roger Penske. The car is in fact a M6A/3 that was used as a spare car by the McLaren works team in 1967, then McLaren team used it as a M6B prototype and later sold it to Penske team.
Race: Bridgehampton 1968 #6 Penske Racing Team with Mark Donohue 1st Overall Grid=4th.
Engine: Chevy V8 ohv 6997cc 640hp at 7000r Lucas FI 5sp 800kg 28 built.
With a characteristic periscope inlet and a moving rear aileron manually controlled, Donohue becomes the toughest challenger to the McLaren M8A works cars. It stayed in the race to the title up to the last race and its best performance was the win at Bridgehampton.
